Ipswich’s Holi Festival will now take place on Sunday 29th April.
The event had to be postponed due to wet conditions but it is now hoped that visitors will be able to enjoy the unique atmosphere in better weather.
All the fun will take place in Holywells Park between 1pm and 4pm and the event will feature Bollywood entertainment, music, singing and dancing and Indian food stalls.
The highlight for many is the opportunity to cover each other in coloured powder – it’s great fun and a fantastic spectacle. The coloured powder is provided.
All communities are welcome to celebrate Holi. Come with your families and friends for lots of fun for all ages
Ipswich Holi Festival is organised by the Ipswich & Suffolk Indian Association, with the kind support of Ipswich Borough Council.
Entrance to the park is via Myrtle Road. Parking is available at Athena Hall car park off Duke Street and at Orwell Quay.
